I'm wondering how in the hell you get the "OK" from all FIVE of your wives to go ski on a powder day? Hell, most of my buddies here have to make VERY serious concessions to their ONE better half just to get a day on the hill when it snows in these here hills.
such a fine looking couple.So last night was the Freak's birthday, as he now gets prepared to wreak some havoc on the 35+ category. It was a swell gathering 0f good folks. Homemade pizaa was off the charts, ice cream cake, elmo cake, beer, shots, all after another crushing day of powder skiing, and then a drive home in a blizzard so we could get ready to crank it up again today, which we did. This snow cycle is pure madness as our body's beg for a day off, but not really...
I was cursed by the lifties first chair ride for trying to skate around the chair and get on after I missed it the first try, must have been the hangover?
And then more of the same with J. Dublowsky and Pull out the Stopper Tom Hopper of Garmin/Slipstream. The perfect blend. a Tele Shredder, a Snowboard Shredder, and an Alpine Hacker, see, we CAN all get along, we are ameriCANS.

Our bodies are battered from however many days in a row of sick powder skiing, but somehow I'm sure we will manage to drag ourselves back to the chairlift tomorrow morning. This snow has been a blessing. Unreal snow, great friends, endless powder runs, all memories and days that can never be taken away.
Today was huge, need sleep, I'll report more tomorrow, I'm out. Here's a tidbit.
Holy Crap, I'm not sure where the idea started last night while I was hosting open mic at Yeti's Grind in downtown Eagle, but somebody thought shots of Tequila and Karaoke later in the evening was a good idea. It kind of was, but with the snow DUMPING AGAIN this morning and my head thumping for the first time in what seems like years, I'm not so sure. It was a pretty fair time however, to say the least. Someone please tell me I did'nt sing Billy Idol last night.... 
But damn if it did not dump HUGE again here yesterday which led to some more simply said "SICK" skiing at Beaver Creek again today. 16 inches in two days, a break today, and another HUGE snowstorm forecast for tomorrow during the day and eve. GET HERE NOW for increible powder skiing before the big melt hits.
In what can only be described as one of Mountain Biking's most brutal and infamous tests of endurance, Squirt Lube was undoubtedly a force amongst the top teams. 5 of the 7 stages were won by the Songo.info/Specialized team of World Champion Christoph Sauser and South African National Champion Burry Stander who use SQUIRT exclusively as well as the rest of the Specialized factory team riders. 
Stander leads out teammate Sauser in the Cape Epic Prologue, which they won, on SQUIRT Lube
