WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS THAT BIG YELLOW SPHERE IN THE SKY?

Is this actually April 5th outside my condo?

There is this big round yellow thing in the sky this morning in Eagle, Colorado. What the hell is that thing? Plus it's 9 degrees which I find a bit on the chilly side for April 5th. Fuck it's cold.
