Day's one and two of the Breck Epic are in the books and to be quite honest with you I have not figured out what to think just yet. Day one was greeted with a monterous deluge as the prologue started under what could only be described as a very quiet atmosphere. Day two was a bluebird day on the Colorado Trail loop stage and racers seemed almost giddy at the course, everyone smiling at each aid station. It's Jeramiah Bishop and Travis Brown locking horns just 44 seconds apart after near 4 hours of racing thus far...brandon Dwight of Boulder Cyclesport has been hanging around as well trying to answer the bombs at the front...

Thompson and Overstreet leading the 80+ Combined cat. From Spike to Squirt in the blink of an eye at the first ever Breck Epic.
Dewet Marais leads the 50+ solo cat after day 2, he is riding strong
The sun came out briefly during the strat of the prologue
Thompson and Overstreet gun it at the start of the time trial...they would take the lead on day one.
