Here's one for ya. Think you are a good technical descender? Well, I've never considered myself anything other than quite ordinary going down hill on a mountain bike unless there is something BIG on the line, and since that no longer happens, I refuse to push it to that point at my age anymore, especially on a first gnarly descent like the south side of Hall Ranch. This descent is super fun, but will crush your skull if you are not on your "Mega A" game. This makes Endo Alley look like a flat road ride...I'd have filmed more of the gnarliest but I was too busy WALKING those sections. So if you think you are good, here's the challenge in front of you. Ride this trail clean on your first shot at it, and Elgee will buy you a Ten Fidy at the bottom of the hill in Lyons at OBB. Cheers. Good Luck. Bring it.
And when all the old homies up on the hill get their senses about themselves while it thaws up there, come down and ride, this stuff will blow your socks off....
I'm up for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteImma take you up on this challenge later this summer or fall when I'm back in the Front Range. Count on it.
