Weather attempted to just say no to the Boneyard Brawl in Eagle, Colorado last eve, in the old hood, but cooperated at the last minute, sort of, and the race was on. Jake Wells (Dogma Athletica) was able to put an end to Jay Henry's (Tokyo Joe's) sweep of the seven race Vail town Series with a one second win at the line, swapping last years result....
Mr. Wind paid the 10 x 10 it's usual frame busting visit just prior to race time.
And then it was game on at the Boneyard Brawl for a large field of racers...
Next up in Eagle is the Hardscrabble Humper, perhaps Colorado's toughest 38 mile mountain bike ride/fondo. 10,500 feet of climbing and amazing singletrack for hours. Meet at the Mountain Pedaler at 7am, it was big last year, it will be bigger this year, don't miss this MONSTER ride. It's not a race, it's all about fun, riding great singletrack and good people. See you there.
