I'd like to think like most that we can now get down to some business in the tour De France, not that it has not been business up to this point, but it's been stressful to watch, much less ever thinking about lining it up everyday considering circumstances and the weather, I can't even begin to imagine the war that is going on out there. It was grand to see Hoogerland take a turn at the front this morning and try to bridge, and I believe he made this move as a thank you to all of us who now find him a bit of a folk hero, I was pulling for him, but it was not meant to be, but thanks for the excitement anyway JH.

With that said, a certain Mr. Contador was exposed today, and another Mr. Evans was showing some serious mustard for a change at the Tour. It sucks that so many are no longer here to either help or battle for the title themselves, but it also appears that we should have some great drama along the way, hopefully crash free. I've seen enough guys hit the deck this year, here's to keeping it upright, taking off the gloves, and may the toughest bastard out there win....bastard being a term of endearment.
