SOME PRETTY LARGE CROSSVEGAS NEWS..THREE TIME WORLD CHAMPION ERWIN VERVECKEN IS IN THE HOUSE..
As usual, for the big breaking news in the CX world, GK at Mud and Cowbells is reporting that he was contacted by Crossvegas promoter Brook Watts today and told that three time World Champion Erwin Vervecken is coming to the United States to race at Cross Vegas this year. Even I must admit that this would be $8 worth spending. It's RARE, to say the least to see a Belgian World Champion race CX here in the USA. This should be a great matchup as CrossVegas is an "American" and UCI type course, fast and furious which should help keep some of our top power guys like Trebon, Johnson and Wells in the mix if they are on...don't miss this one.
In the meantime, it's PISSING down rain on the eve of the Leadville 100, which could make for a superfast track should the rain quit this eve....
