A 40TH BIRTHDAY RIDE FOR A GUY WHO TURNED 40, MARK D. DESROSIERS

On a absolutely perfect day to ride bikes, and Marc D Desrosiers 40th birthday, the target was the first Burns Loop of the season for me, and actually my first "real" bike ride of 2012. The weather held perfect and Marc almost made it home on time to get to work. Below we fixed his flat at the Wolcott Yacht Club..
Eat at State Bridge

Roughly 20 miles of perfectly smooth dirt on the Colorado River Road starts here.

And the climb up the backside of Catamount starts here, which is the other side of the 2011 State Road championship masters road race last year...
So of course we get back and the first thing everyone who didnt get to do the ride asks is, "wasn't it windy on the ride", to which I have to roll my fucking eyes and say yeah, it was windy, and WHO GIVES A FUCK, we rode 40 miles into a stiffy headwind and you know what it was AWESOME. Got any more questions? Pussy.
