Let A2B be the first to tell the world that the United States Forest Service has shut down the Wolverton Loop, which was never a legally recognized trail in the first place as of today. I was there, they were there, and they have covered the trail with approximately 40 logs, so far, to shut the gem down. There is no recourse, and you probably do not want to be "that person" to make the news. This is disturbing news for the Hardscrabble Humper as one of the premier sections is no longer available, which means some modification will have to be done in the future, which I will do.....freekin big bummer for Eaqle riders.
