THUMBS UP FROM A2B ON THIS PERFECT HOLIDAY GIFT FOR YOUR WIFE OR GIRLFRIEND

Thank you BB.

I'd order early gents as this is bound to sell out quickly. I believe the Shark Tank would be all over this one. And guys, this will help you improve that grip strength so your hands don't slip off the bar tops while descending that bumpy ass hill at the Louisville Rec Center CX race!

THE THOUGHT OCCURED TO ME TODAY...A2B, THE CERA POLICE

Oddly enough, I still get people ending up on this blog site who are searching for places to "buy CERA EPO". When you google that term, my blog site is one of the top choices from an earlier post I had on the subject. This time the request came in from Berlin, Germany and I've even got the IP address
So, you just got busted douche.

BOULDER CUP 2009 MEN'S OPEN......

BOULDER CUP 2009, THE BOULDER REZ ROCKS

Classic Rez shot....
Compton and Dunlap did battle for about 500 yards on Sunday, Compton is just rolling right now.
On an absolute bluebird day, where a foot of snow disappeared in 48 hours from temps in the 70's, the Boulder Cup throw down took place at the Boulder Rez this past Sunday and the vibe was pretty crossy for the most part with the exception of three big absentees as I saw it. One being no women's cat races which I found rather bizarre, secondly, strangely absent was the "voice of cross" Dave Towle which I also found rather bizarre, the big races just do not sound as big without Dave T on the mic. Dave was in house observing the action, but not even a cameo...hmmm. Thirdly, absent was any competition for Tim Johnson and Katie Compton who decimated their respective fields both days.

I must be in the front rowwww..35 OpenVery ridable sand, unless in a crowd
Faia, the chase is on..
Boulder Juniors rippin it up..on Squirt Lube
Damien Fraser charging the sand for Mafia Racing
Keller carving...
Freak finished 5th...

And in the name of good sportsmanship, I present this gem. This is what happens when you install new brake pads prior to the race yourself, and they end up rubbing the entire race...I believe this is called a "bird".

THOMAS FOUND GUILTY....DAMN GOOD.

From the Velonews Web page....
A Los Angeles Superior Court jury on Monday found Dr. Christopher Thomas Thompson guilty of assaulting cyclists by abruptly stopping his car in front of them on a hilly Los Angeles County road last year.
Thompson, a former emergency room doctor, was found guilty of six felonies and one misdemeanor and could face as much as five years in prison.
He was remanded and ordered held without bail until sentencing. He was handcuffed in the courtroom after the verdict was read.
Thompson was accused of assault with a deadly weapon, reckless driving causing specified bodily injury, battery with serious bodily injury and mayhem. The most serious charges stem from a July 4, 2008, incident on Mandeville Canyon Road, the road where Thompson lives, where he was accused of abruptly stopping his car in front of two cyclists. Other charges relate to a similar incident on the same road that did not result in injuries.
In the July 4 incident, the two cyclists hit the rear of Thompson's car; one slammed through the rear window, the other catapulted over the car into the road. In the earlier incident, the cyclists said they narrowly avoided hitting the rear of Thompson's car.

If I am ever charged and convicted of a crime during the remainder of my life, I hope it will be a "Mayhem" charge. It just sounds so damn CX.

BLUE SKY VELO CUP 2009.

Blue Sky Velo Cup 2009 was a day for the mudders like Tim Johnson who excels in the crap conditions like no other. On the women's side it was Katie Compton with a dominating performance as well as both Johnson and Compton took the first leg of their respective weekend sweeps.

Funky warm skies prevailed as the snow melted quickly with temps in the 60's on Saturday at Xilinx
Jake Wells powers through some of the mud
Kiester and Yoder do battle in the 45+ race. Yoder would put near 30 seconds into Kiester on the way to a victory
Hanzel descends a sloppy corner
Adam Craig charging late in the open race
It was a day for outriggers for sure.... Burnsy in the mix....Cat 35+4's
Cannondale's Tim Johnson dominated in the mud and led the Cannondale sweep of Johnson, Powers, Driscoll both days...

This was the night before the race at the course where for some reason "we" decided to go ride hot laps after mid night on the xilinx course, drinking was involved. We at least wore helmets, but I think we wore them as shoes.
Getting sorted...
Dunlap/Compton showdown was all Comtpon, but But Dunlap rode well in conditions that greatly favored Compton's technical skills and power.
Farrel and Opperman bumped heads all race long
Greg Keller in the middle of the mud and cowbells.
Damien Fraser rode well all weekend for Mafia Racing
And then of course there is this...
