Is this Portland or Eagle? WTF?
There is something a little depressing about having to turn the lights on in my condo at one oclock in the afternoon so it is not too dark to work on the computer, on June 1st.
Ever since Uma K visited the Eagle Valley, it's been raining, everyday, some days more than others, today it's crushing rain, thundering, the whole bag of shit is dropping. The singletrack is saying buff, this may turn out to be the greatest wildflower year in the history of Colorado's high country as well. And incredibly the Mexican jumping beans have move on. Life is now somewhat quiet in the condo again, except for the fucking bird across the street....
You know. It's raining here in Bend too. WTF?!? It's like I'm some kind of rain goddess! Maybe instead of velodevi I should be raindevi and start charging to come visit dustry, crusty places to bring the rain. It fully sucked that I got rained out in both Moab AND Vernal AND Fruita last week, but actually here in Bend now it's perfect! Perfect trails. Tacky, buff, and just in time for my first XC race this year. Please call anytime you need a little rain refresher :-)
