photo from cycling newsI know many of you expect some smart ass story from me on this tragic story, something like "Szczepaniak attempts to take his own life do in part too few vowels in his last name", but this is just flat out devestating news as the results of Kacper's positive EPO test have driven him to the edge. After finishing second behind his brother in the U23 World Championship race this year, Cycling News is reporting that the former Polish CX star was possibly pressured by the combination of his family's financial position and his coaches (all though no one has been named) into doping with the potential to increase his family's income ten fold by signing with a top Euro cycling squad. Makes me wonder what guys are doing to win a pair of inner-tubes around the rest of the world.
