IT'S LEN ZANNI'S NIGHT AT THE FIRST VAIL TOWN SERIES RACE.

Zanni took control mid way through Wednesday night's race

Honey Stinger's Len Zanni made the trip over from Carbondale tonight and provided a very large crowd with some exciting racing action as he beat locals Jay Henry and Jake Wells convincingly. Once we knew Zanni was in the house I knew we were in for a treat and Zanni did n0t disappoint as he and Henry gapped the field on the second lap. Zanni then was able to ride away from Jay Henry on the third lap and take the well earned victory by holding a 30-60 second gap to the finish. Jake Wells rounded out the podium with Josiah Middaugh taking fourth. In the women's open race, Gretchen Reeves throttled the women's field early and never looked back.
