Apparently Chris Horner of the Astana cycling team has crashed and was hauled off by ambulance, if this is true, this is the second huge blow to the team with Lance already recovering from his busted up self. This story is not confirmed on any cycling related web sites yet, but it appears to be true. Dave Towle quote from Facebook. "crashed out of Pais Vasco, in ambulance...."First reports coming in say it's a broken wrist or arm...stay tuned.
Now it appears Horner has some type of shoulder injury in what is being described as a bad crash descending, Contador norrowly avoided the crash as he was directly behind Horner and teammate Daniel Navarro when Navarro's chain snapped sending him realing, Horner could not avoid Navarro and went down hard and at speed....it's been a tough go for Astana thus far this season.
