Today was one of those spring days. It was time
to head back to Eagle from Denver to work tomorrow and since Arapahoe
Basin is along the way, and it is STILL snowing there, the decision was
made to ski a few runs. Low and behold I run into old skiing buddy from
the 80's and 90's Dave Myer and we go rip a few in the snowstorm and a
very well covered ski area on a freezingly cold day in may. It was
actually quite good skiing and a shit pile of fun. Then on to Eagle,
with the new rig in tow, run a couple of errands and then take the new
big travel dropper seat post bike out on the home dirt on a perfect eve
to ride and do some trail work....I get it now, big travel and seats
that drop equal sick fun.
