DID YA GET SOME LOVE TODAY?? GO STEAL A DAY SOON.

The "Scrubbie" canopy on Catwalk
Never being one to miss a great ride on a great day in the fall to check out the colors, I embarked on the proverbial three hour tour today after rapping up the real estate obligations by mid-day....one thing you realize quite quickly just days after your 50th birthday is that EVERYTHING IS STILL AWESOME. While desperate houswives were home listening to a bucket of shit on the Oprah show today, or figuring out how to fold a party napkin watching that worthless sack Martha Stewart, both who pray off the weak and meek of the lonely, overweight housewife, I was out poking around on the local single track stealing yet another wonderful day away from life. The riding here just gets better every year, this summer's steady rains have kept our single track just stupid good, firm and fast and now with a soft pad of fallen leaves on large sections of it. Dropping in legally today behind the elementary school and heading up Tick Alley was perfect...cool breeze with killa colors on the scrubbies and berry bushes. Scratch was fast and Catwalk can't get better....if you have never ripped around Catwalk, now is the time to go....and be thankfull for the many man hours spent to create an amazing trail.....watch out for the new tree down just across the spring crossing and HAUL ASS. Then back track to Abram's single track downhill and you have a day that 99.9999% of the world will only dream about after they turn Oprah's HUUGE ass of the boob tube. The riding was so good I even had to go do a lap on the race course before heading home. The only riders I saw the ENTIRE ride were Ross and Heather Sappenfield who were on Haystacker road when I was almost home....I LOVE RIDING IN EAGLE. This is indeed a dream.....go steal a day soon.
