The Fireworks start on Saturday with the National Mountain Biking Marathon Championships in Breck. Two grueling laps, 50 miles, nearly 12,000 feet of climbing, most above 10,000 feet. Can Jay Henry take the title back after crashing out early last year?
Then it's the first edition of the Breck Epic. A MONSTER six day stage race in and around the peaks of Breckenridge, Colorado. 35,000 feet of climbing and pure suffering lies ahead for racers. Personally, I bailed on the race and I'll be working the Squirt Tent all week.
