When no one was looking this weekend in Colorado, because their faces were stuffed in the snow which fell all over the state this weekend, (particularly at Loveland which received an astounding 51 inches of snow over the weekend!) National Champion Katie Compton CRUSHED in Europe and won the Sandy Koksijde World Cup race in Belgium this weekend defeating WORLD CUP LEADER Hanka Kupfernagel in a sprint at the line. Katie may have played her cards just right this year but we will have to wait and see as she rolls towards another shot at a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
