Three very lucky back country skiers were buried in an avalanche up in the Gore Range a few days ago, they are crediting the Avalung with being primariyl responsible for their sruvival as well as the rest of their standard Avy gear.

A word to the wise however, the Avalung was not the only reason these three survived, all though it did play a role. In the Avalanche world, luck plays probably the biggest factor, along with education and being familiar with how to use your tools in a crisis situation. Awesome that three are still alive today after being buried from 1.5 to over 2 hours. An amazing survival story.
