ALBERT JUST DOMINATES WORLDS FOR BELGIUM...

Only a year after winning the U23 world championship, Neils Albert attacked early and often and won his first men's elite World Championship today as the Belgians were dominant. Albert went virtually from start to finish against a FAST field with what has to be one of the most impressive victories ever at a CX World Championship event.
Top finishers for the USA were well back in the field and never contended. Jeremy Powers was the top USA finisher in 35th place just under three minutes back. Trebon dropped out early, Page was 52nd after hitting the deck early on.

  1. It's like cheering for Big George in the classics, it never quite happens for the US.
